Note d’Autore is a musical show that takes the form of a tribute to Maestro Giancarlo Bigazzi on the tenth anniversary of his death. To revive the great musical production of Maestro Bigazzi will be great artists of the Italian song together with telentious newcomers. The protagonists are the notes and lyrics of songs that for decades have represented the soundtrack of several generations.
The first major musical event of the tenth anniversary will take place on the stage of the “La Versiliana Festival” on 24 July 2022.
The musical direction of the Note d’Autore show will be entrusted to Maestro Marco Falagiani, historical collaborator of Bigazzi and co-author of many songs, including Non amarmi and the soundtrack of the film "Mediterraneo", awarded the Oscar in 1992.
Leading the evening will be the Livorno-based actor and imitator Leonardo Fiaschi, known to television and radio audiences for his chameleonic performances. Note d’Autore therefore, intends to represent a sonic journey through time, touching the popular roots of Italian music and rediscovering its strength, essence and passion.
Giancarlo Bigazzi, an indisputable versatile talent and unforgettable "craftsman of Italian song" (as he himself liked to call himself) dedicated his life to art, music and love for his wife Gianna. In over fifty years two hundred and fifty million records sold all over the world and more than one thousand and five hundred songs written.
