Raffaele Giglio

From today on radio and digital stores "Segreto", the new single by Raffaele Giglio, produced by GB Music by Gianna and Giovanni Bigazzi.

"Segreto", a piece that is part of a discographic project to be released this autumn, wants to be a hymn to universal love and freedom, without cultural and gender restrictions.

"Despite the progress we have achieved over time in many areas, unfortunately we still live in a world where cultural and social problems affect the feeling that is the emblem of freedom: love. - 'Segreto' continues Raffaele - wants to be a song that underlines the concept of freedom to love without limits. "

The single bears the signature of Raffaele Giglio, Alessandro Franco Smeraldi and Roberto Smeraldi, the latter is also the artistic producer of the entire project, which together with him wanted the participation of great professionals such as Simone Gianlorenzi (Anna Oxa, Briga and many others) for the arrangements and Fabrizio Simoncioni (Ligabue, Negrita, Litfiba etc.) in the mix.

Raffaele describes the meeting with his artistic direction: "A unique experience born with the show "Io canto e tu", conceived by Gianna and Giovanni Bigazzi for Gb Music, which retraced the repertoire of Maestro Giancarlo Bigazzi. The meeting with Roberto Smeraldi and Alessandro Franco Smeraldi, has increased the confidence in myself even more. This is the first song that my producers created for me, maturing with time the shape and the text, thus putting my voice on those words I came to feel it more and more mine. "

Accompanying the song will be the videoclip soon to be released by Mario Olivieri and Michele Abbondanza for the Caimani Video Agency in Rimini.

Raffaele Giglio was born in Caserta, February 26, 1983.
At the age of 10 he approaches music taking piano lessons. Soon, however, he realizes that his vocation is another. In 1997, in fact, he began to approach the battery, an instrument that then will not abandon anymore.
After years of study and practice Raffaele, barely an adult, began his career as a session musician with various pop and folk groups, who will take him around Italy and in some tours abroad as a drummer, as well as percussionist.
At 20, he discovers his singing skills. His scratchy rock voice is hard to get noticed. In fact, there are many experiences of productions. In 2010, he moved to Rome where he met the artistic director Roberto Smeraldi, who will contribute significantly to his professional growth. From that moment begins an intense study path that will lead him to create and record his own songs.
Raffaele manages to tell and tell the world around him, an author and musician who plays, the sweetness of love and the anger of social themes with a personal style, never predictable.
In 2016 he participates in the event "Una serata bella per te, Bigazzi" at the Dal Verme theater in Milan where he plays, together with the two singer-songwriters Giorgio Gulì and Motin, "I sing and you" in a revisited version of the song written in 1977 by G .Bigazzi and G.Bella.
From this idea comes a show entitled "Io canto e tu" that sees him protagonist in a mini tour in Italian theaters in spring 2017, followed by an extraordinary date, in summer, on the occasion of the festival of La Versiliana.
During the year he continues his work on the debut album and, in December 2017, he released the first single "Aspetterò" also presented at Sanremo Giovani, which obtained important results on the major web channels. In April the release of the second single "Segreto" is scheduled.
