The Giancarlo Bigazzi in lounge project represents a series of reinterpretations with new arrangements and various performers, like a progressive journey of ‘rediscovery’ that will give a new ‘sounding touch’ to some tracks from my father's boundless repertoire of hits.
My intention, and that of the whole of GB Music, is to make Giancarlo's work known and retrace it from another ‘listening point’, in the union of generations, not only the younger ones but also the listeners who grew up with his songs.
I believe that my father's work should be constantly valorised, beyond any era, and beyond any ‘passing fad’.
With the prerogative of talent and dedication over more than 40 years of work, but above all thanks to his ‘craftsmanship’ (the true hallmark of his artistic research)to this day, his songs are a ‘renewable energy’ over time.
