Marco Iardella, is a Tuscan composer, vocal coach and music producer with a degree in Composition and Choir Direction.
He has collaborated with many Italian artists including Gianni Morandi, Franco Fasano, Simone Cristicchi, Bianca Atzei, and Antonio Maggio.
Much of his work is dedicated to the world of the very young. H
he wrote and produced, in collaboration with l'Antoniano di Bologna and Rai Ragazzi, the songs for six editions of the ‘Junior Eurovision Song Contest’, the most important European children's music event, held in Malta, Georgia, Belarus, Poland, France and Armenia, reaching the podium in 2016.
He is among the most sung authors of the ‘Zecchino d'Oro’ having written fifteen songs with which he has participated in as many editions of the popular children's song festival, winning the Zecchino d'Oro 56th, the Zecchino d'Argento 45th, the
Zecchino Verde 52nd and the Zecchino Colpo di Fulmine 59th.
He writes and produces soundtracks, his signature appears in over a hundred episodes of animated television series including the recent ‘44 Cats’ produced by Rainbow and broadcast daily by Rai Ragazzi. Translated into more than twenty languages ‘44 Cats’ is distributed worldwide on thematic channels such as Nickelodeon and on various online platforms, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Rai Play.
In 2023, he wrote the soundtrack for the film ‘Il Pigiama Party dello Zecchino d'Oro’ produced by NEXO starring Caterina Benvenga. Also in 2023, he composed the original music for ‘Lo Zecchino d'Oro Show’.
He is currently in charge of the musical and choral direction of the musicals ‘Forza Venite Gente’ and ‘Caino e Abele’, both on stage in major Italian theatres.
He collaborates with GB Music on several record projects and live events.
