"Giancarlo Bigazzi, the craftsman of music"

It will be a special event. Single. Unrepeatable. Right in the heart of the city - his beloved Florence - which saw him born and grow, until he became one of the greatest authors and composers that Italian music has ever counted.

Sunday 20 November at 5 pm, in Piazza San Firenze, it will not be just any show: music, singing and emotions will be the absolute protagonists of a full day that will see illustrious guests from the Italian music scene. The Neapolitan journalist and writer Ciro Castaldo will present his latest book "Giancarlo Bigazzi: the craftsman of the song" (Edizioni Melagrana) with the musical contribution of Giovanni Caccamo, Cecille, Marco Falagiani, Franco Fasano and Valentina Galasso. Gianna and Giovanni Bigazzi, wife and son of the maestro, and Alessandro Carteni will also be present and will intervene.

"At the end of this year dedicated to the brilliant Florentine composer, producer and talent scout - declares Ciro Castaldo - it is an honor for me to present my book right in the heart of the historic center of his splendid hometown and a few kilometers from his beloved Versilia. A research book, made with a lot of love, made up of interviews, anecdotes, curiosities, memorabilia, biographical notes and author's photos, which I wrote to tell the master with the right attention, especially to the new generations".

The event, created thanks to GB Music Edizioni e Produzioni, will have free admission subject to availability. Reservations are recommended for this. Secretariat: Mon. - Fri. from 14.30 to 18.30 at the number 055 695921 or at the e-mail address
