GB Music is the historic label of author and producer Giancarlo Bigazzi, who passed away in 2012, and has been a part of the Italian and international music scene for over 50 years. Giancarlo was a versatile producer with many talents: direct and selective in choosing the words to include in the melodies he composed, as well as those by other authors he collaborated with; an unwavering mentor and talent scout who consistently nurtured the gifts of young singers, often leading them to success, including Massimo Ranieri, Marco Masini, and many other great artists.
Giancarlo Bigazzi, record producer and composer, was one of the most renowned authors and producers in Italian music. Among his successful songs are Rose rosse, Montagne verdi, Lisa dagli occhi blu, Luglio, Ti amo, Gloria, Notte Rosa, Si può dare di più, Non si può morire dentro, Gente di mare, Tu, Erba di casa mia, Gli altri siamo noi, Cosa resterà degli anni '80, Self Control, Gli uomini non cambiano, Non amarmi, Disperato, Bella stronza, and many others.
He also collaborated with the film industry, creating several soundtracks and winning an Oscar for the movie Mediterraneo. Additionally, he was, along with Alfredo Cerruti, the founder of the group Squallor, pioneers in the Italian music scene with their ironic and irreverent style.
